L\u2019Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Padova<\/strong> lancer\u00e0 a breve la terza edizione del bando Supporting TAlent in ReSearch@University of Padua \u2013 STARS@UNIPD.<\/p>\n

L\u2019iniziativa intende promuovere e incoraggiare ricerche di elevato standard internazionale, innovative e ambiziose, e persegue l\u2019obiettivo di potenziare la capacit\u00e0 dei ricercatori e delle ricercatrici dell\u2019Ateneo di accedere a finanziamenti competitivi esterni, in particolare dello European Research Council (ERC).<\/p>\n

Il bando STARS@UNIPD \u00e8 destinato a finanziare progetti di ricerca individuali della durata di due anni, proposti da Principal Investigators (PIs) eccellenti.<\/p>\n

In particolare, la linea di finanziamento STARS Starting Grants <\/strong>(STARS-StG) \u00e8 rivolta a ricercatori e ricercatrici anche esterni\/e all\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Padova, di qualsiasi et\u00e0 e nazionalit\u00e0, che si trovino nella fase di avvio del proprio team e\/o della propria attivit\u00e0 di ricerca. I candidati e le candidate devono aver ottenuto il titolo di Dottore di ricerca da almeno 2 e da non oltre 7 anni alla data del 1\u00b0 gennaio 2021.<\/p>\n

Il testo della call e i relativi allegati saranno ufficialmente pubblicati l\u201911 gennaio 2021 sul sito del Programma (https:\/\/www.unipd.it\/stars2021<\/a> in italiano; https:\/\/www.unipd.it\/en\/stars2021<\/a> in inglese).<\/p>\n

La piattaforma on line per la presentazione delle candidature verr\u00e0 attivata l’11 gennaio e il bando chiuder\u00e0 alle ore 13.00 (ora italiana) del 12 aprile 2021.<\/p>\n

The University of Padua (Italy) funds promising young researchers | STARS@UNIPD Call opening: 11 January 2021 – Deadline: 12 April 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are pleased to inform you that the University of Padua (Italy) will launch the third edition of the Supporting TAlent in ReSearch@University of Padua \u2013 STARS@UNIPD call for proposals. Such programme supports excellent 2-year research projects to be conducted by outstanding Principal Investigators of any nationality choosing Padua and one of its 32 Departments as their working base and committing to submit an ERC project proposal with the University of Padua as their Host Institution.<\/p>\n

The STARS@UNIPD call aims at encouraging high quality, innovative and ambitious research in all scientific areas, offering support to ground-breaking ideas with definite potential to turn into competitive proposals for international funding, including the prestigious European Research Council grants.<\/p>\n

In particular, STARS Starting Grants<\/strong> (STARS-StGs) are designed to fund promising PIs who have been awarded their first PhD within a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 years (prior to 1st January 2021) and are about to establish their own research team and\/or starting their own independent research.<\/p>\n

On 11 January 2021 the call text will be officially published and the on line submission procedure will go live. Application deadline is on 12 April 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (Italy time zone).<\/p>\n
